Introduction
The play “Prayer” is a two-hander that powerfully unfolds the story of two mothers: one from the South, one from the North, who have lost their children in a tragic disaster. Kang Ae-shim (Netflix Squid Game Seasons 2–3) and Lim Kang-hee (2:22, God of Carnage) portray the women from either side of the border, joined by a female pianist discovered through blind audition. The delicate live performance merges seamlessly with the actors’ intense interplay to create a moving stage experience.
