Introduction
Centered on Korea’s foremost master singers of Madangnori, this large-scale production brings together a gugak orchestra blending Eastern and Western instruments, Seunghyun Kang’s performance troupe (Top 5 from JTBC’s Poongryudaejang), and the Seungjoo Lee Dance Company, winner of the Presidential Prize at the 2021 Hanbat Gugak Competition. With a 35-member cast, including four Presidential Prize laureates, it delivers a definitive showcase of pansori and Korean traditional music at their finest.
